KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Beverly Beuermann-King is one of the featured speakers who will share her expertise at this year’s conference. She is a resiliency and wellness strategist who uses her S-O-S Principal to help people control their reactions to stress and build resiliency against life’s challenges.

Co-sponsor of the Suicide Prevention Conference 2022

This year, the annual Workwell Summit will be combined with the South Dakota Suicide Prevention Conference. We are excited to partner with SDSPN to talk about the importance of addressing mental health in the workplace.

We encourage all employers, human resource, and healthcare professionals to attend this critically important conference to learn, share, and discuss current work-related topics and issues around depression, burn-out, and suicide prevention strategies.

It’s a great opportunity to network and compare notes with other professionals at the regional, state, and local levels with the goal of addressing stigma related to depression and suicide with the goal of ultimately reducing chronic disease and improving population health.

The conference will provide tools and resources for prevention and stigma reduction with special emphasis on strategies for veterans, youth, tribal communities, and worksites. Learn about resiliency and hear from those who have experienced suicide loss or survival.

Plus, Beverly Beuermann-King will share her SOS Principle to help people control their reactions to stress and build resiliency against life’s challenges—especially key in worksite settings!

August 12: 10:45am–12:00pm CST
The closing keynote session will provide tools and strategies for how to recognize depression and suicide warning signs and support those individuals. Special emphasis will be around how to start the conversation with veterans, farmers, youth, Native Americans, and employees.

The key to suicide prevention is knowing how to connect with trained individuals who are ready, willing, and able to get involved when someone is at risk. Discover how to confidently and effectively support your team, family, and/or friends who may be struggling with a mental health challenge or contemplating suicide.
