  • 1-hour weekly sessions led by certified CPR and Walk With Ease leaders
    – Discussion on health education topics
    – Warm-up and cool-down exercises
    – 10-35 minute walk at your own pace
    – Additional activities and exercises using the class materials

Fit & Strong! In-Person Group Workshops

  • Led by trained Fit & Strong! instructors
  • 90-minute group exercise and education sessions
  • Workshops held 3/week for 8 weeks or 2x/week for 12 weeks

A community-led evidence-based fall prevention program designed to help participants exercise safely, improve daily function, and manage joint pain and stiffness. Workshops include a multi-component approach, with flexibility, strength training, aerobics, health education, and group discussions.
